Swan Energy is delighted to announce we’ve recently welcomed Rebecca Scarratt to join our growing team, as a Carbon Analyst. In her role at Swan Energy, Rebecca supports the consultancy work the team does with clients across the UK.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Hull with a BSc in Geology with Physical Geography in 2020 and more recently with an MSc in Renewable Energy earlier this year. Her Masters’ thesis focused on how future climate change may impact the Humber region’s wind energy sector and how adaptation strategies could be used to reduce vulnerability.
About joining the Swan Energy team, Rebecca said: “I’m looking forward to a career in consultancy and in this role, I also feel I’m playing a role in reducing carbon emissions in the UK. I’m keen to learn, look forward to working with more and more clients, and I’m already feeling part of the Swan Energy team. It is inspiring to be surrounded by enthusiastic and knowledgeable people who enjoy the job they do.”
Away from work Rebecca loves hiking and climbing in the Peak District with her dog, as well as dancing and crocheting.
