Swan Energy is delighted to announce that we’ve recently welcomed Joe Youldon to the growing team, as a Carbon & Energy Analyst. Joe is our fourth recruit in the last 18 months and he is being mentored by Robert who was recruited in the summer of 2018 and has now been promoted.
Joe joined us at the start of November and is already busy helping Rob and Sarah with 11 EU ETS clients, which include hospitals, peaking plants and CHP plants. When SECR really gets going in 2020 he’ll also be heavily involved in this.
Joe said: “I’m looking forward to a career in consultancy and in this role, I also feel I’m playing a role in reducing carbon emissions in the UK. I’m keen to learn, look forward to working with more and more clients, and I’m already feeling part of the Swan Energy team.”
Joe graduated from the University of Leeds in July, with a BSc in Environmental Science (International), having spent a year of his course at Melbourne’s Monash University and living in Australia, which he loved.
Away from work Joe is a very active person. He enjoys getting on his road bike and riding in the countryside around Leeds, playing cricket in the summer and rugby in the winter…and travelling the world whenever he can. Right now he’s saving for a big trip to Australia planned for next year.
