Swan Energy is a carbon compliance consultancy working across a range of industries, ensuring our clients meet their carbon, environmental and climate change compliance obligations. Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit a Carbon Analyst to assist us in delivering services to our clients, in a commercially aware way, to help manage mandatory and voluntary carbon reporting and compliance obligations.
The initial duty of the Carbon Analyst will be to review and document Swan Energy’s working procedures. This will include working with the existing team of carbon consultants to develop and maintain Swan Energy’s ways of working. There will include everything from client interaction and site visits to organising the filing system.
The role will also extend to working with our consultants across our client portfolio to manage our clients’ needs in line with various Greenhouse Gas emissions and climate change legislation when required. This mainly concerns the UK Emission Trading System (UK ETS), but also covers the Energy Saving and Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) and Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), as well as the new Taskforce for Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
