December marks our first anniversary of the Swan Energy business operating as an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) and we continue to thrive. Here are a few headlines from the past year…

- We have reported over one million tonnes of CO2 for UK ETS clients in the last reporting year.
- We continue to support over 90 UK ETS installations across the UK.
- We are, once again, supporting EU ETS installations, working with data centres in Ireland.
- We were delighted to achieve a Net Promoter Score of 92 in our annual client survey, which demonstrates client satisfaction and loyalty.
- We have a growing portfolio of clients, having started to work with 6 new client contracts. This is to support mandatory carbon compliance and reporting across various schemes – UK ETS, EU ETS, SECR and ESOS.
- Finally, placing our employees at the heart of the business with an employee ownership model has encouraged employee engagement and improve morale. Everyone is 100% motivated and committed to the continued success of the business.

The Employee Ownership Trust was set-up by our late founder, Andrew Park, who transferred his family shares in the business to Swan Energy Trustee Limited. This strategic move enabled the Park family to exit the business, whilst allowing Swan Energy to continue to operate. Over this past year we have continued to prosper and 2025 is looking just as good.
