Jody joined the Swan Energy team in April 2023, and brings to the team a wealth of experience in managing business operations across different industry sectors.
In his role at Swan Energy, Jody works alongside our Operations Director to manage business operations and “backroom” aspects of the Swan Energy Business. He plays an integral role in the strategic direction of the business.
Joe joined the Swan Energy team in 2019, having graduated that year from the University of Leeds with a BSc in Environmental Science.
Since joining Swan Energy, Joe has progressed to be Operations Director and plays a key role in the strategic direction of the business. He manages the company’s portfolio across the UK, supported by a team of Carbon Consultants.
Joe has delivered focus groups on the future of the ETS and its systems, and workshops for clients. He also develops and manages our strategic partnerships.
Joe is London based.
Claire joined the Swan Energy team in 2014. In her role as Office Manager, Claire is everyone’s ‘go-to’ person and a central cog in the wheel of operations her at Swan.
Day-to-day she takes care of organising diaries, invoices, meeting minutes, site visits, meetings, and hotel bookings – and when you ring into the office Claire is likely to be the person that answers.
We would be lost without Claire!
Rebecca joined the Swan Energy team in 2021, after graduating from the University of Hull with a MSc in Renewable Energy.
In her role at Swan Energy, Rebecca supports the consultancy work the team does with clients across the UK. She has gained experience in the various compliance services we offer. Within the core team, Rebecca is account manager for over 40 UK ETS installations across the healthcare, food manufacturing and energy industry sectors.
Rebecca has managed SECR reporting and ESOS energy auditing for a selection of food manufacturing and retail clients. She has also produced a TCFD report for a large gas and oil company and managed CHPQA applications for NHS clients.
After graduating with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, Shaun joined the Swan Energy team in December 2021.
Shaun supports the consultancy work the team does, managing ETS reporting for our clients across the UK, He is the main contact for our larger sites, that range across the food and drink, chemical production, and waste treatment sectors.
In addition, Shaun has more recently gained experience in SECR reporting and ESOS energy auditing.
Shaun is based in Glasgow.
Bethany joined Swan Energy in 2022, having graduated from the University of Leeds with a MSc in Climate Change and Environmental Policy. Prior to this she achieved a BSc. in Geography with a first-class Honours.
In her role at Swan Energy, Bethany works with clients across the UK, ensuring they are compliant with greenhouse gas and climate legislation. She works with a diverse portfolio of over twenty clients, across 36 UK ETS installations, from a range of sectors. Here key role is ensuring clients are compliant with the UK ETS, specifically with a focus on Hospitals and Small Emitters (HSEs) and electricity generators. Alongside this, Bethany ensures clients are compliant with ESOS, SECR and the Heat Network Regulations.
Bethany also plays a pivotal role in the development of the software Swan Energy uses to generate UK ETS reports.
Tom has been working with Swan Energy for five years now. He writes and edits the Energy Briefing and undertakes some of the analysis work involved in other projects.
For a number of years Tom has been working towards his PhD at the University of Leeds and has recently completed this. His research was focused on the consequences of climate change.
