Deadline for EU ETS Phase IV Baseline exercise extended

We’ve been keeping you up to speed with the EU ETS Phase IV Baseline exercise over recent weeks, and it’s now been agreed to extend the deadline for all UK operators to 30 June 2019.

Please note however that the BEIS EU ETS team email said:

“Nevertheless, operators are strongly recommended to submit their data ahead of this deadline. Submissions on or before the 30 May will enable the regulator to begin the necessary checks in good time, which will minimise the risk of inaccurate data being passed to the Commission. Operators should remain aware that the later they submit their data, the more chance of errors in the data leading to incorrect free allocation from 2021.”
