Swan Energy has lots of news to share. Other developments are also on the horizon, so watch this space.
Joe Youldon has now been promoted to the role of Operations Manager and two new recruits, Rebecca Scarratt and Shaun McGregor, have joined the team. We’ve also launched our new website, which shows off a new look and feel for Swan Energy.
Joe joined the Swan Energy team as Carbon Analyst in 2019, and after a promotion early in 2020 to Carbon Consultant, towards the end of last year it was agreed that 2022 would see him promoted to Operations Manager. This was planned for Easter but since Tony Summers is now leaving the business to pursue his career elsewhere, we have decided to bring this forward.
In this role he will lead on managing the company’s ETS portfolio across the UK, mentoring the team of Carbon Analysts. Joe is London-based.
We’ve also been busy recruiting. In October 2021 Rebecca Scarratt joined the team as a Carbon Analyst, having recently completed a MSc in Renewable Energy. Shortly after, Shaun McGregor, a chemical engineering graduate, joined the business. Rebecca and Shaun will both support Joe in managing the client portfolio.

We’ve all been hard at work over the past few months, putting some strong foundations in place and we are well-placed to move forward in 2022. We also wish Tony all the best in his next career move.”
As the Swan Energy business continues to evolve, we also decided the time was right for us to review our branding and to develop a new website. You will see that our logo is updated and the swan has gone, however it has been incorporated elsewhere in the branding, along with a brighter colour palette. Information is now more easily accessible, and a key feature of the new website is Swan Energy KNOW HOW where we share our expertise in the field of carbon reporting in a newly built knowledge bank. We’ve also just updated the site to include some real-life pictures of our team.
